This tool uses the general-purpose Real-ESRGAN x4v3 model for AI denoising and super-resolution. It may reconstruct plausible details rather than recover the exact original. It does not specifically repair scratches, tears, missing corners or faded colours, and results can look different from the source. Do not use AI-restored results as evidence or for identity verification. The image is processed locally in your browser; the model and runtime are downloaded from Hugging Face and jsDelivr. No photo is sent to a Zhatpat application server.
